ABC of Eyes 4th edi.2004

Many advances in eye treatment have taken place since the third edition of ABC of Eyes in 1999 and they have been included in this 2004 edition. A major new feature is a CD Rom which is book marked and hyper -linked for instant access to all headings and topics and has an index. The 4th edition takes a symptom-based approach to the treatment and diagnosis of eye problems and includes an expanded version of the chapter on refractive errors, while sections on glaucoma have been re-written. Two new chapters have been added on age-related macular degeneration and the global impact of eye disease. Other chapters include red eye, eye lid, orbital and lacrimal disorders, injuries to the eye, cataracts and general medical disorders of the eye. The book should be an invaluable resource for any one who deals with eye problems in primary care or in an emergency department.
